Jason Momoa Says He Can’t Shoot ‘Aquaman 2’ Because He ‘Got Run Over by a Bulldozer’
Jason Momoa says he can’t start shooting “Aquaman 2”… because he “got run over by a bulldozer” while protesting construction of a giant telescope on land considered sacred to native Hawaiians.

“Sorry Warner Bros we can’t shoot ‘Aquaman 2,'” he wrote in an Instagram post. “Because Jason got run over by a bulldozer trying to stop the desecration of his native land This iS Not Happening. We Are Not Letting You Do This Anymore. Enough is enough. Go somewhere else.”

In a followup post, Momoa asked fans to support the protest movement, writing, “During this time, we are trying to unite both kānaka and Hawai’i born peoples alike to protect not only the mauna, but also our way of life and greatest natural resources in Hawaii as a whole.”

Aquaman Star Jason Momoa Fires Back At Body-Shamers Again

Last month, photos of Jason Momoa relaxing on the beach with his family revealed that the Aquaman star hadn’t maintained the muscular physique displayed in the recent DC blockbuster. And while you wouldn’t think that would be anyone’s business but his own, the actor has subsequently found himself to be the unlikely target of a wave of online body-shaming.

Naturally, the fans have since come to Momoa’s defense, and in a new video shared from Hawaii, the star offers his own response to the controversy while spreading a message of greater importance than the appearance of his so-called “dad bod.” In the short clip below, Momoa stands shirtless with the slogan, “Tmt + Canary Islands = Discovery,” written across his chest. Speaking to the camera, he offers the following message:

“How’s that for a dad body? Tmt, the Canary Islands want you. We don’t want you.

It seems we’re going to have to wait a little longer for Denis Villeneuve’s Frank Herbert adaptation Dune, with Warner Bros. announced that it has pushed back the release of the sci-fi epic a month from November 20th 2020 to December 18th 2020.

The film will now open alongside Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, Paramount’s comedy sequel Coming 2 America, and Sony’s Uncharted movie (assuming of course it isn’t still in development hell by that point).

Dune Remake Gets New Holiday 2020 Release Date
Denis Villeneuve's Dune remake is now hitting theaters one month later than initially planned. Villeneuve just wrapped production on the highly anticipated remake at the end of July. Dune author Frank Herbert's son, Brian Herbert, was the one to deliver the good news and notes that the cast has already been talking about how amazing it was to work with Villeneuve, who apparently knows how to run a set with expediency. With that being said, we're going to have to wait a little longer to see the results than originally thought.

Warner Bros. has announced they are shifting the Dune remake release date from November 20th, 2020 to December 18th, 2020. It's unclear why the studio decided to move the project, but it must have some pretty strong confidence in it since the new release date puts it in direct competition with Steven Spielberg's West Side Story remake, Tom Holland's Uncharted,

Affleck officially parted ways with the project and the character in January, which was followed by confirmation that Reeves was coming on board to retool the next Batman film.

In a new interview on MTV’s “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, cinematographer Robert Richardson reconfirmed Affleck’s Batman script was finished and not exactly beloved by everyone involved in the film’s development.
