A short Star Wars animation, focused on the Empire, drawn and shaded in the style of classic '80s anime. Empire and rebel forces engage in a frantic all-or-nothing dogfight in space, but the Empire has 3 Tie Fighter aces up its sleeve.
Artoo's bungee jump was performed three times at a real bungee jump attraction located at Fox Studios, Sydney, Australia. The first two times a bungee cord was used, but was not on the third try, which is the footage in the documentary. A special R2 was created for this scene, and was completely destroyed. I first met Artoo in 1976. I was visiting George's company at his studio. I was drinking some water and decided to throw my styroform cup away. I went over to the trash can in the corner, but the lid wouldn't come up. So I kicked it a few times. It began to squeak and bleep and make all these noises. I kicked it three or four times and it fell over. And George came over and said "What are you doing to Artoo?" And I said, "Well, I was trying to throw my styroform cup away in this trash can." One of THE most funniest mock-umentaries I have EVER seen. I love how Carrie Fisher is in this, including Natalie Portman. It is very funny. I love how they make R2 look so damn stupid in this...but it's very funny! A must see for those R2 fans!
