Charles Solomon: When we look at Steamboat Willie today, it's hard to imagine how fresh and how different it must had been than the other animated films of that era. In November 1928. you had never seen anything like this before. Here was a character laughing and dancing and whistling and singing coordinated to the music more perfectly than anything you would have seen before.

Extraordinary is seriously the only word that can describe this documentary. I watch it again and again and again and I never like it a inch less. Wonderful!
