Union Production of ‘The King and I’ Seeks Ensemble Dancers to Join Tour

A touring production of “The King and I” is currently seeking dancers for the ensemble of the production. Dancers will join the cast of the already-touring show. The tour seeks both female and male dancers, aged 20–30, to play Siamese or Burmese men and women. Women will play wives and the ensemble in Uncle Tom’s ballet. Men should have an athletic build and be technically trained. Female talent will at times understudy the principal roles of Tuptim and Lady Thiang. Male talent will at times understudy the principal role of Lun Tha. There is an equity chorus call in New York City on Jan. 11, 2018. Pay is $1,073 per week, minimum.
